Wiltz Family Miniature Horses and Tack is located at Hiawatha in the northeast corner of Kansas, which is just 38 miles from Missouri and 10 miles from Nebraska. We started with miniatures in July of 2001. We started with 5 mares and a palomino stallion. Our plan was just to have them as pets, no showing, and hold the numbers to just those 6 head.
As many of you have experienced, the best laid plans can have a way of going astray. Today we have 60 to 70 miniatures including 5 outstanding top blood line stallions and show at 6 to 8 shows each summer.
Our bloodlines include Buckeroo, Rowdy, NFC Impressive Streaker, Cross Country Call Me Sir, Lilliput Acres Show Me The Bucks ('Spider'), Tibbs Silver Fox, Little King, and Kahoka.
We breed for show quality miniatures with color and our show record indicates we are doing a great job of reaching our goals.
In 2006 we started a small miniature horse tack business here at our farm. We stock halters, leads, harness, saddles, muzzles, whips, blankets, carts plus much more.
We welcome visitors, so if you ever get close to northeast Kansas, give us a call.
